Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S)

Dr. Rajaram Prasad completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, affiliated with The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai.

Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Prasad’s dedication and excellence were evident, consistently ranking among the top 10 students out of 100 each year.
His exceptional performance was further acknowledged with a gold medal in orthopedics, awarded based on his outstanding performance in a competitive examination.

Internal Medicine Post-graduation

Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Rajaram Prasad completed his post-graduation in Internal Medicine at Manipal University, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore.

During this period, he not only passed with flying colours but also secured the highest marks in the postgraduate MD examinations.
His exemplary academic achievements culminated in being recognized as the Best Outgoing Postgraduate in MD General Medicine in March 2011.

DM Cardiology Post Graduation

Dr. Prasad’s quest for knowledge and expertise led him to pursue further specialisation in cardiology. He completed his DM in Cardiology at Manipal University, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, from 2012 to 2015.

His dedication and commitment to the field were once again recognized when he was awarded the title of Best Outgoing DM Cardiology Postgraduate Student in 2015, showcasing his exceptional proficiency and contribution to the field of cardiology.

Professional Experience

Since 2016, Dr. Prasad has been serving patients at Aasai Health Centre in Salem, offering comprehensive non-invasive cardiac care services. In September 2018, he expanded his practice by establishing a Cath lab at SIMS Chellum Hospital in Salem, where he performs interventions to address cardiac issues effectively.
